We look forward to our Winter Concert on Saturday, January 24th in Duffin Hall at Lenox Memorial Middle and High School! In preparation, our vision is to transform and connect our community in the Berkshires through choral music education, opening up a world of experiences, confidence, and collaboration for all children!
This fall, we hope to take that vision very literally, as the chorus makes connections throughout Berkshire County! The Chorus will schedule monthly appearances at community festivals in the south, central and north portions of Berkshire County.
Additionally, this Fall the Berkshire Children’s Chorus has three rehearsal locations for the first time in our 36-year history. Each week children will gather in Great Barrington, Pittsfield and North Adams to rehearse under the direction of Artistic Director, Ryan LaBoy. This is the first time to have singers all the way up and down Berkshire County!
Coming out of the pandemic we had nine singers and one rehearsal location. This past spring the Music Makers Concert at Tanglewood featured 40 children singing. We look forward to having even more children “find their voice” and develop friendships as we start this season off with many new and returning singers.
