Amanda Watroba

Amanda Watroba was raised in Lee, MA and educated in the Lee Public Schools. She holds a Bachelor’s in Music Education from Westfield State University, a Master’s of Music Education from Boston University, and a CAGS in Educational Leadership from Cambridge College. She is currently the Director of Bands at Hoosac Valley Middle & High School in Cheshire, MA where she directs the Middle School Band, High School Concert Band, High School Marching Band, High School Jazz Band and serves as Music Director for the school’s annual musical production. As an instrumentalist, she has performed in concert bands, woodwind ensembles, orchestras, and pit bands throughout New England and in Europe as a member of the United States Youth Wind Ensemble. As a vocalist, she had the honor of singing Charpentier’s Te Deum on stage at Carnegie Hall. She has served on the board of the Tri-County Symphonic Band in Marion, MA, on the Vestry of St. Gabriel’s Church in Marion, MA and Trinity Church in Lenox, MA, and currently serves as a member of the Commission on Ministry for the Episcopal Diocese of Western Massachusetts. She resides in Pittsfield, MA with her husband, Nick, and their 3 cats Winnie, Pepper, and Gomez.
