Melissa Agosto was born and raised in San Juan Puerto Rico. She began her professional career in public accounting and has since developed expertise in various areas of accounting and finance, including budget preparation, performance reporting, and forecasting analysis. She is the Director of Finance at the Austen Riggs Center in Stockbridge Massachusetts, where she is responsible for detailed financial analysis, accounting internal controls, management of the business office functions, and preparation of financial reports that support the Center’s mission.
Melissa graduated from the Berkshire Leadership Program in 2019 and is currently a Corporator at Lee Bank. She also is dedicated as a Girl Scouts Troop Leader, helping young girls build confidence, leadership skills and a sense of community.
She resides in Pittsfield Massachusetts with her husband, Ricardo, their children Natalia and Nico and their dog Mocha. As a member of the Berkshire Children’s Chorus board and the parent of young singer Natalia, she is thrilled to support a creative and inclusive environment where young voices can thrive.
